UPDATE: Two arrested after Ossett crash

Police have arrested two men after a crash in Ossett last night (Tuesday).

It happened at around 9.20pm, when a red MG ZR car travelling along Flanshaw Way towards Flanshaw Lane, left the road and collided with a tree.

An 18-year-old male, who was a passenger in the vehicle was cut from the vehicle and taken to hospital with serious head and leg injuries.

Two males, aged 26 and 27, who were believed to be also travelling in the vehicle, were arrested on suspicion of road traffic offences and remain in custody today.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or the movements of the vehicle prior to it, is asked to contact PC 2875 Wilson at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101.
