Wakefield’s Trinity Walk evacuated after bomb scare
Part of Wakefield city centre was evacuated after a bomb scare in Trinity Walk this afternoon (Saturday).
Police were called at 12.25pm after a man was spotted leaving a suspicious package outside of the Bank shop.
Shoppers and staff were evacuated between Bank and Sainsbury’s while the package was investigated by a specialist search officer.
