Met Office issues ANOTHER yellow weather warning for Wakefield this weekend

A yellow weather warning is in place across Wakefield over the next few days as more rain and blustery weather conditions continue across the district.

The Met Office said: "It will be very windy on Friday with outbreaks of rain.

"Often windy with further outbreaks of showery rain Saturday and Sunday. Some overnight frosts."

Windy but colder, with showers Saturday. Cloudier Sunday, with rain and hill snow, persistent for a time, clearing to sunny spells. Wet and windy again Monday.
