Normanton Town Council has lined up a bumper crop of talent for the Party @ Haw Hill Park on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for the event said: “This year we have an amazing line up of acts which starts at 3.45pm and includes some amazing talent and some former X Factor contestants.”

No tickets are required for the free concert, which runs until 9pm at the park off Castleford Road.

X factor stars Kiera Weathers, Lauren Murray and Jake Quickenden are among the talented line-up.

Kiera reached the final four in the girls’ section of last year’s ITV show.

Lauren was also a member of Rita Ora’s final four, reaching the semi-finals. She has since been performing in the X Factor UK tour.

Jake appeared on the talent contest in 2012, when he reached the judges’ houses and again in 2014, making it through to the live shows.

Other acts include Tom Bleasby, Charley Monroe and Angel Gold.

Tom has worked alongside Jessie, was featured on X Factor 2015 and has supported Jason Derulo.

Up and coming female vocalist Angel recently supported X Factor winner Ben Haenow on his tour and has worked with top names in the business.

Charley is planning her first EP and has worked with internationally renowned singers.

Professionally-trained singer Johnny Mack and 2006 chart-topper Chico Slimani will also take to the stage.

There will be small children’s rides on site as well as several caterers.
