County Championship: Yorkshire claim win over Hampshire as Maxwell confirms arrival
YORKSHIRE moved up to third in the County Championship - and to within nine points of early leaders Middlesex - by wrapping up a 305-run victory against Hampshire.

Needing six wickets overnight to claim a 23-point haul, the White Rose county were made to wait until the afternoon session thanks to the resistance of Will Smith.
He finished unbeaten on 64 but two wickets in two balls after lunch by Adil Rashid put the hosts within touching distance.
Steve Patterson then wrapped up the win when Fidel Edwards edged a delivery to Alex Lees at first slip as Hampshire were all out for 143.
Rashid finished with figures of four for 48 from 26 overs.
