Not surprisingly, the demoralising defeat has led to calls for heads to roll, namely head coach Andy Flower and captain Alastair Cook. Both are determined to continue and turn the England team around in time for the next Ashes battle in England in 2015.

Former England and Yorkshire all-rounder Anthony McGrath and the Yorkshire Post’s cricket correspondent Chris Waters once again join host Phil Harrison on our CricketTalk Ashes Panel to discuss where England went wrong in Australia and what, more importantly, they need to do next in order to give themselves a chance of regaining the famous urn on home soil in 18 months time.
