Skipper Jack Hughes led the way for Townville as they progressed to the semi-finals of the Solly Sports Heavy Woollen Cup.

The Bradford Premier Division team now face Yorkshire Southern Premier League side Wakefield Thornes this Sunday after an impressive 103-run success against Huddersfield League side Honley.

Hughes took 6-24 and Harry Clewett 3-31 as Honley were dismissed for 132 in reply to Townville’s 235.

Opener Abdul Wahid hit nine fours and three sixes in a knock of 73 for the Castleford-based team while Hughes contributed 37, Harry Warwick 21 and Conor Harvey 19.
