Yorkshire beat Lancashire in the County Championship at Headingley earlier this week

England internationals Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root are set to return to Yorkshire’s line-up in a bid to secure a first win in the 20-over competition this summer.

The Vikings were beaten by Worcestershire Rapids last night and collapsed to a 54-run defeat in their opening fixture against Leicestershire Foxes at Headingley seven days ago.

However, victory went the county champions’ way in the Roses meeting over four days last week and Andrew Gale will be looking for a repeat success over the shortest format.
