The on-off Ross McCormack transfer saga has finally come to a conclusion this morning with the player signing for Fulham.

The London club announced that they have completed a deal to sign striker McCormack for an undisclosed fee believed to possibly be as much as £11 million.

The Scottish international has signed a four-year deal at Craven Cottage, with an option of a further 12 months.

McCormack handed in a transfer request to speed up his departure from Elland Road and stayed behind while his Leeds team-mates went to northern Italy for a two-week pre-season training camp.

Leeds said last week that the player was not for sale, but have been tempted by Fulham’s increased bid after their initial £5m offer was turned down.
