Nostell MW took on promotion chasers Brigg Town at their Welfare ground and photographer Scott Merrylees was there to capture the action.

Here's a selection of Scott's pictures from a Toolstation NCE Division game that ended 3-1 to third-placed Brigg.

Nostell were given a flying start when Joe Wood put the ball in the net in the opening minute, but two goals in a minute turned the game round in the visitors' favour with Scott Phillips putting away a penalty and Wayne Graves quickly following up with another effort.

Nostell's bid to hit back after the break was ended when Thomas Johnston made it 3-1 to Brigg.
