Jesters gymnasts sweep board at Barnsley event
Jesters took 19 tumblers to the competition and achieved top position in each category they entered.
It was the first time the club had entered this competition and their coaches were highly impressed with how their gymnasts stood up to the challenge.

Hide AdElizabeth Durow won a gold medal with Katya Berner close behind in second position in the under 11 girls grade one category.
Heidi Owens finished in first place and Lily Dickinson was third in the over 11s group.
Ellie Ward was awarded a gold medal in her competition which was grade two.
Libby Aitcheson finished in first position in the club grade three competition with Anya Battye close behind her in silver medal position.

Hide AdJesters head coach Jessica Garrett said: “I am incredibly proud of my tumblers.
“We only train two hours a week in this class and the groups in the competition were huge.
“We would love our very own tumble track to practice at higher levels on but unfortunately we don’t have anywhere to store it at the minute.”
The club takes children from full time school age but it has a long waiting list for beginners.

The club was founded in 2003 by Kath Shepherd.
They gained a GymMark award in 2012 which is given to clubs that follow all the correct policies and procedures chosen by British Gymnastics.
The club has beginner, intermediate, performer and elite squad classes which are run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
