’The Gladiator’ was matched with one of BKB’s toughest in a testing bout against Mason Shaw, but came through with flying colours to win the British light heavyweight title belt.

The fight was on the bill for the BKB 19 show, which took place at London’s 02 arena.

The sell-out event was aired on pay per view across the world in countries such as America, New Zealand, Australia and Canada with the sport becoming increasingly popular, attracting professional boxers from all over the world.

Holmes was one of the most impressive performers on the night as he knocked Shaw down in four of the five rounds.

Not only did the Castleford man take the title, but he has made BKB history by making the top ten ‘Toe The Line’ pound for pound rankings with his first-ever professional bare knuckle fight. He will be looking to defend his title in the New Year.
