Rugby Union: New look Sandal warm-up with Sheffield clash


Recruitment has gone well during the summer as Sandal look to bounce back following their relegation from National Two North last season.
Yorkshire Carnegie have released England U17s scrum-half and Sandal product Ollie Fox to play in Sandal’s National Three North campaign and Yorkshire hooker Steve Graham has joined from National One side Wharfedale.

Hide AdFormer Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Salford second row Ben Gledhill, who switched codes to join Sale FC, has also joined the ranks at Milnthorpe Green, as has former QEGS centre Tom Allott, from Rotherham Titans.
They are joined by Pontefract duo, scrum-half Josh Walker and flanker Frank Cartwright, Bradford Salem flanker Tom Fountain and Ilkley second rower Steve Burns.
Sandal kick-off the new season on Saturday, September 3 with a home derby against Huddersfield.
