Alongside the Halloween Trail, romp in the spine-tingling woodland adventure playground with its nine swings, tower with corkscrew slide and double zip wire and enjoy refreshments in the Stableyard.

William's Spooky Adventures. North Cave, near Hull, October 28 to 31

Explore East Yorkshire’s immersive interactive trick-or-treat street. Bring your most chilling moves to the Monster Mash Disco dancefloor. Try not to lose your head in a round of scarecrow golf. Prepare to be captivated by the petrifying well and witness objects turning to stone. You can also step inside the birthplace of a real witch and cast a spell in the mystical wishing well.

Follow the spooky skeletons trail around the estate and into the haunted house. Dress up in your best Halloween costume and explore the woods. Don’t miss the Nocturnal House in Wildlife World to see the bats.

The Sea Witch is back. Will you be brave enough to step up and help them by solving the 'spook-splash-tic' challenges and fill in your activity sheet as you go?

Come and enjoy a fun and family-friendly Halloween walk-through experience, with performers, magical animal encounters and activities. Follow the trail to the Walled Garden to take part in the petrifying pumpkin hunt.

Leeds Pumpkin Scare Trail, October 29A free family trail at Golden Acre Park, some charged activities and donations welcome for the local Leeds charities. Follow a trail of more than 200 pumpkins.
