“I remember I got my first gig at a club called Cosmic Ballroom in Newcastle at my friend’s event and since then it’s been absolutely crazy.”

Over the last three years, Ross has performed at various clubs and events across the UK.

Since he began his career, his online mixes have had over a quarter of a million plays, landed him DJing residencies across the UK, including his hometown of Pontefract, Newcastle and abroad in Ibiza - he is also managing his own events.

Ross said: “It all ultimately lead to me playing for a brand called Cirque Du Soul in places like Leeds, Newcastle and Loughborough, it’s like a travelling circus where they showcase both headlining DJs and local talent from each city.

“I was lucky enough to play for Cirque Du Soul in the cities I mentioned before and be kept on as a resident - the same people own and run a festival called El Dorado Festival.

“I woke up one morning to an email from the owner asking me if I wanted to play the festival this summer in July.

“Of course I said yes and confirmed it straight away, it’s held on the beautiful grounds of Eastnor Castle in Hertfordshire, last year it sold out.
