Buffet restaurant, Panda Mami teamed up with the shopping centre for an unforgettable day of entertainment on Sunday (February 22), to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year.
At the event, co-owner and general manager of Panda Mami, Kevin Mao, said: “Today’s a very special day.
"It’s a double celebration as while we enjoy the famous Wakefield Rhubarb Festival we’re also thrilled to bring the magic and energy of Chinese New year to this city.”
The afternoon featured live music, stalls and a spectacular Lion Dance from the Leeds Chinese Community School.
Dating back thousands of years, Lion Dancing is an annual Chinese tradition, and is believed to bring good luck and fortune.
Kevin continued: “As we welcome the students from Leeds Chinese Community School, we are welcoming luck and prosperity for the year ahead.”
