“We are pleased to be keeping the Prince of Wales Hospice involved, they will be charity partners for the 10k and we hope to get some help in supporting this wonderful local charity.”

Entry to the race, which includes a medal, T-shirt and goody bag, costs £20, or £18 for affiliated runners.

Organisers are also seeking volunteers to help staff the route in exchange for a free place on a run at a later date.
