Learn how to be a game developer with Wakefield-based team behind Worms series
A masterclass for teenagers on how to make video games will be held in Wakefield by the company behind a classic franchise.
Team 17, the creators of Worms, will host the session at Wakefield Exchange later this month.
I Can Be… A Games Developer! is a free creative skills day for young people aged 13 to 17 years at The Factory on Monday, March 30, from 10.15am to 3.40pm.
Breakfast and lunch are included.

Organisers said the “hands-on day” offers young people the chance to design and pitch original games ideas, learn about coding and game feature design, explore quality testing, and discover how games find and engage audiences.
Worms was originally released in 1995 on the Amiga.
Since then more than 25 further editions, including Worms Armageddon and Worms 3D, have been released across more than 35 platforms.
