The food destination has backed YAA since 2011, raising over £11,000 in total – contributing to the Air Ambulance's support of over one thousand patients each year.

The partnership began after a neighbouring farmer was seriously injured in an accident and received lifesaving support from Yorkshire Air Ambulance, prompting Blacker Hall Farm to take action.

Since then, customers have donated vital funds to the charity through a range of events at the farm, including its annual Yorkshire Day Festival and popular Christmas markets.

Blacker Hall Farm also donates £1 from every ticket sale for its Big Machines event and Tractor Run.

Edward Garthwaite, owner and managing director of Blacker Hall Farm, said: “Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a cause very close to our hearts. As a fifth-generation family business, our local community is the lifeblood of Blacker Hall Farm. We are grateful to our customers for their generosity and continuous support, the success of the fundraising would not have been possible without them.

“We hope that Yorkshire Air Ambulance can continue its incredible work supporting farmers, families and communities across Yorkshire for many years to come. It is such an important service that helps when people need it most, and we are proud to do our bit to support them.”
