Jasper is a handsome 2 year old Labrador Cross who is full of beans. He's a super lad who has lots of potential in experienced hands. Sadly his life has been very unsettled and he has been left feeling quite insecure. Our training team have worked really hard to help build his confidence and he's now ready to continue his life in a forever home. He is still a bit of a work in progress so his owners must be willing to work with us and stick to his training plan, but in the right home we know he will do really well. He's very smart and willing to learn. Once he knows and trusts you he is playful and full of character! Although he can't share his home with other pets he's very sociable with other dogs and enjoys having walking buddies at the centre. Jasper will need patient owners who are happy to take on a bit of a training project! He won't be able to be left alone until he's fully settled in his new home. He needs to be the only pet in a two-person adult only home. He loves his exercise so needs active owners Photo: Dogs Trust
Luna is 9-months-old and is such a smart cookie and needs owners who can channel that desire to train. She is a big active girl and needs a secure enclosed garden in a quiet area. Luna is friendly with people and her tail constantly wags however she does lack confidence in new situations and will need several visits to the centre as well as a few home visits to check out her new pad as well. Luna is very attached to her handler and the pair have a solid bond. She should attach herself quickly to her new owners and will need them to be around all the time to settle her in. This could take a while as she needs to grow in confidence before she can be left alone. Luna is worried and unsure around dogs and does need some further work, she will need to be the only pet. She has made great progress but this will need to continue in her new home and for now she will need quieter doggy areas for exercise. Luna should be fine with children 16 and over. She is such an amazing switched on dog and should flourish in her ne Photo: Dogs Trust
Lyle is 3 years old and although he's old enough to know better, he does still lack self-control! He's absolutely full of beans and always on the go so will need a lot of patience from his owners as he learns the ropes of home life. He'll need very dedicated people who have a good understanding of dog training and who are passionate about gradually bringing out Lyle's potential. He is extremely strong on lead so you must be able to confidently handle him out and about. He is a very intelligent dog and very willing to learn. His love of food really helps when doing training tasks with him. If you are looking for a smart boy who enjoys lots of interaction and will be a bit of an ongoing project, then Lyle is your boy! Lyle's new home will need to have no neighbouring dogs and in a generally low dog populated area. This is because he gets very worried by them and will bark if he sees them. He will need to be walked in quiet areas where he won't see many other dogs, but he travels fine so won't mind being driven Photo: Dogs Trust
Major is big handsome bundle of dog who at 11-years-old needs to find a new family to call his own. He can be a little shy when you first meet him but comes round quickly if there are some tasty treats coming his way. He's a very sweet lad who can get very playful when the mood takes him. He enjoys his walkies too but he is very strong on his lead so not for the faint of heart. He has a history of being house trained but may need a little refresher as he settles in to his new life. As Major is a big guy he cannot live with very young children but over 14's will be fine, as long as they're happy around larger dogs. He is fine around other dogs when out and about but doesn't like to share his home so he'll need to be the only pet. In his previous home he was never left alone so he will need someone around all the time, but that just means more fun and snuggles with him! Major is no stranger to the cookie jar and does need to lose a little weight. Major has a few medical issues which new adopters will need to ta Photo: Dogs Trust
