Titan the robot entertains crowds at Arriva bus route launch event
A fully-interactive robot entertained crowds at Trinity Walk.
Titan the robot has performed on stage alongside singers Rihanna and JLS.
But he was in Wakefield on Tuesday as part of a launch event for Arriva’s new 268 bus route.
The new Arriva service will run between Bradford, Heckmondwike Dewsbury and Wakefield.
New specially-designed MAX buses will be used for the journeys, which run every 10 minutes.
The buses feature new exteriors and interiors, luxury leather seating and free Wifi.
Nigel Featham, regional managing director for Arriva Yorkshire, said: “We believe the 268 extension into Wakefield will be a real hit, as the new MAX buses offer a great package of benefits for customers.”
