Castleford Tigers' 2023 Betfred Super League fixtures revealed

Castleford Tigers are set to start their 2023 Betfred Super League season away from home when they travel to head coach Lee Radford’s former club, Hull.

The Tigers travel to the MKM Stadium on Sunday, February 19 before huge back to back home games will get the Mend-A-Hose Jungle season off to an exciting start.

Champions St Helens will be the first visitors to the Wheldon Road ground in a game that will be broadcast live at 1pm on Channel 4 on Sunday, February 26 then Challenge Cup winners Wigan Warriors will play at Cas on Friday, March 3.

The Tigers will play local derbies against Wakefield Trinity at Wheldon Road on Thursday, April 6 in what has been called Rivals Round and the return on Sunday, August 20.

They will face their other neighbours, Leeds Rhinos, at home on Thursday, March 16, and away in the last match of the regular season, on Friday, September 22.

Magic Weekend returns to St James' Park again with Cas up against the Rhinos and eager for revenge on Saturday, June 3 after suffering their first-ever defeat at Newcastle United's home ground.

The regular season will see each team will play 27 fixtures – 13 home and 13 away, plus Magic Weekend at St James’ Park, and Old Trafford will again play host to the Super League Grand Final on Saturday, October 14.

The end of season play-off series sees the top six ranked teams battle it out to reach Old Trafford. The top two teams at the end of the regular season will be just 80 minutes from the Grand Final and receive a bye in week one before facing the winners from third versus sixth and fourth versus fifth.
