Popular Wakefield city centre bar, The Establishment, has announced it is to close after 10 years.
The bar, next to Unity Works on Westgate, took to social media last night to tell its customers.
The post said: “To the people of Wakefield, and the surrounding areas too, it’s been an absolute pleasure
"It’s with a very heavy heart we announce closing our doors for the final time after almost 10 years
"The Establishment has been a blast to many!
“Whether it’s been your regular stomping ground, your favourite place for bottomless brunch, or just a venue that has a special place in your heart because we’ve hosted a party for you, we will miss every single one of our customers.”
The bar said it is inviting people to ‘come party with us’ one last weekend on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11.
"Let’s give this place the send off it deserves.”
It added that for any bookings/parties, they will be getting in touch this week.
