Colleagues from Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, in Wakefield, have raised more than £5,000 for charity after taking part in the homebuilder’s annual fundraising event.

Now in its 12th year, the Taylor Wimpey Challenge has so far raised over £1.6 million for the Youth Adventure Trust (YAT), a charity which inspires vulnerable young people through outdoor adventure, as well as other regional charities across the country.

The Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire team joined 300 other employees from across the country to complete a hike along the north Devon coastline, followed by a series of competitive creative and strategic tasks.

The money raised be donated to the YAT and Martin House Children’s Hospice – a regional charity providing hospice care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions .
