Plans submitted for new cafe at Pontefract garden centre
Plans have been submitted to Wakefield Council for a new cafe at a garden centre in Pontefract.
The application proposes a detached, single-storey cafe building at the garden centre at 190 Baghill Lane.
A design and access statement said the building would feature timber framing and panelling to complement the existing structures on the site.
The applicant said the cafe would operate during the garden centre’s existing opening hours, with the current access, car park and landscaping retained.
Drawings show kitchen facilities and an area for bins.
