Horror house: Most Haunted Live film at 30 East Drive
The show, screened on Really, included former X factor contestant Rylan Clark and Paul O’Grady.
Presenter Yvette Fielding led the investigative team through the house as they looked for signs of Pontefract’s most famous poltergeist - the Black Monk.

Hide AdSpeaking before the show, Mrs Fielding said: “This will be the first time the fans can really get involved in the show.
“It’s perfect for Halloween so if people want to hide behind their cushion and turn all the lights off then this is the show to tune into. If this doesn’t scare them, nothing will.”
During the show Mr Clark was joined by in studio guests to discuss the events as they unfolded and the history of the Chequerfield house.
The unassuming red brick semi became the centre of Yorkshire horror stories after the Pritchard family claimed their daughter Diane was being tormented there. The haunting was depicted in horror film When the Lights Went Out in 2012.
Tales of the 12-year-old being dragged up the house’s stairs by her throat and then nearly being strangled by an electrical wire have cast a shadow over the estate for four decades.
