Man bailed after Facebook post supporting Islamic State
A man questioned after writing a post on Facebook supporting the work of extremist group Islamic State has been released on bail.
The 21-year-old, from Todmorden, was arrested earlier on Monday in relation to a post about the recent Paris attacks.
A police spokesman said the post “incited racial hatred” and the man remained in custody while an investigation is carried out.
He has now been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
