Former party supplies warehouse in Castleford to become shops and flats
A former party supplies showroom and warehouse in Castleford is set to be converted into two shops and two flats after plans were approved by Wakefield Council.
Plans for 118 Wheldon Road will mean the two-storey building be demolished and converted, creating two commercial units on the ground floor and two one-bedroom apartments.
Work includes demolishing the rear and side extensions, making external alterations and providing car parking and cycle storage.
The building was used as a trade showroom and distribution centre for more than 15 years.
