Rain causes rush hour delays on Yorkshire motorways
Motorists are facing delays due to the weather this morning (Thursday).
Traffic is queuing on the M1 in both directions between junction 31 (Sheffield) and junction 41 (Carr Gate) and on the A1 between junction 38 (Redhouse Interchange) and junction 46 (Wetherby).
There are also delays on the M62 between junction 32 (Pontefract) and junction 36 (Goole). The delays are due to the hazardous driving conditions caused by the rain.
