Former Castleford player Kettleborough brings up century of Tests

Castleford CC Hall of Fame member Richard Kettleborough has become a record breaker as an umpire.

Kettleborough, who successfully played for Castleford in the 1990s and played at county level with Yorkshire and Middlesex, took up umpiring in 2002 and has gone on to be one of the most respect in the world.

He has now become the first English umpire to stand in 100 Test matches.

He achieved the feat when officiating at the recent third Test between South Africa and Australia and is only the fifth in history to officiate 100 men’s Tests as an on-field umpire.
