Founded by former Yorkshire batsman Peter Kippax in 1976, Kippax Cricket remains a family business with Peter's son Chris now at the helm.

Their brand is set apart because they are the only bat manufacturer with their own private woodlands.

Chris Kippax explained what makes the new anniversary bat special.

He said: “These bats have been made from trees that my dad planted at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate in 1996 and the clefts that have come out of them are of the highest quality cleft you can possibly get.

"We decided we would do 100 limited edition cricket bats as an homage to my father really, based on what they used to be like in 1976. The look and the image is pretty much identical to what it was when he first started.”
