Featherstone Rovers Women recruitment continues ahead of return to Super League

While the club's first team future remains in doubt Featherstone Rovers Women are pushing ahead with plans for the 2026 season when they are back in their Super League.

After tying down the key players from last season's promotion-winning team Rovers have now confirmed some exciting additions to their squad.

Their latest recruit is Hull KR's 2025 captain Aaliyah Brewster, who has been a regular member of the Robins' first team side since 2021 and is being backed to make a big impact on her switch to West Yorkshire.

Another addition confirmed is full-back or centre Beth MacMillan, who previously played for top Women’s Super League club Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls and is on the recovery trail after not playing last season through injury.

She said: “I’ve really enjoyed training so far, it’s been a great start to pre-season.

"The girls and staff have been so welcoming and it’s been nice to be back in a team environment after my year out. I look forward to building with them ahead of the 2026 season.”

Rovers Women, meanwhile, have put out an appeal for support with a number of sponsorship opportunities available to help them on the Super League return and to help the developing under 19s team.
