Fryston Warriors impress in nine-try show against Rochdale Mayfield

Up against against a Rochdale Mayfield team with an average age younger than their own, they ran out 50-10 winners in their Monkhill Sandwiches sponsored strip.
Fryston opened the scoring when Connor Jordan latched on to a Leyton Davies pass and ran in from 30 metres. Davies added the conversion.

Hide AdDec Lewis burst through for the next try with Davies goaling. Brandon Worsley then linked up from full-back to outpace the defence to score under the posts, giving Davies the easiest of conversions to make it 18-0 at half-time.
Fryston added to their lead in the second half as Louie Tomlinson regathered his own neat little chip to score. Davies goaled.
Rochdale hit back as a desperate kick through was fumbled by at least four Fryston players before Billy Pirouzan pounced to score. James Downham Clark added the conversion.
Tomlinson was sin-binned for dissent and Rochdale capitalised with a Max Boyes walk in try.

Hide AdFryston upped their game, however, with Brandon Ward notching a couple of tries in a matter of minutes.
Davies, Kyle Cranswick and Cameron Worsley were calling the shots again and Davies again sent Jordan over. Cameron Worsley added the extras.
Lewis Birdsall shot from dummy half to score from 30 metres out to score, giving Worsley a simple conversion.

Hide AdFryston completed the scoring as slick handling gave Tomlinson the easiest of run in and Worsley added the extras.
MOM went to Jordan, but Cameron Worsley and Jak Charlesworth were also outstanding. Fryston are at home again this week to Upton, 2.30pm.
