Replacing ISC, Hummel will provide the playing kit, replica shirt and training apparel next year.

Denmark-based Hummel supply kits worldwide to a range of sports and also manufacture Wigan Warriors’ playing kit.

Explaining the decision to partner with the supplier, Wakefield CEO Michael Carter said: “Given the growth in merchandise sales since 2016 with ISC, I felt it was important to continue that success with a worldwide proven kit supplier.

“We need to maintain the quality of garment offered whilst also reflecting value for money in these tough times.

“We were also delighted with the range and designs that were offered to us.

“In terms of going forward, Hummel ticked every box and I’m sure our fans will be delighted with the new range on offer.

“I have always taken a keen interest in how many fans we see sporting club colours around the city and further afield.

“That has grown enormously in the last four years and I cant wait to see you all wearing the new Hummel range.”

Neil Burke, commercial director at Hummel, added: “We are extremely proud to have been chosen as the new technical partner.”
