Wakefield Trinity star hit with two-game ban by RFL's Disciplinary Panel

REECE LYNE is set to miss Wakefield Trinity's next two fixtures after being handed a two-game penalty notice by the Rugby Football League's Disciplinary Panel.

The centre was charged with a Grade C Dangerous Contact following Wakefield's 58-0 loss, meaning he will be absent for this weekend's Challenge Cup clash against the same opponents.

Meanwhile, St Helens winger Tommy Makinson is facing a suspension of up to 8 games after being charged with Grade F Other Contrary Behaviour by the RFL's Disciplinary Panel.

The charge comes after Saints defeated Castleford Tigers 10-0 at the Totally Wicked Stadium, with the Grade F charge carrying a ban of eight games or a suspension period.

The incident, which was placed on report after Makinson allegedly grabbed the testicles of Liam Watts in the 13th minute, has been refereed to a tribunal.
