Lee will be facilitating weekly group sessions at the Pontefract Collieries football club grounds, beginning on Sunday, June 6.

And to honour Andy’s Man Club coming to Pontefract, Lee will be doing a skydive to raise money for the charity, setting himself a target of £10,000.

Lee said: “After I spoke to the development champion at Andy’s Man Club, we wanted to do something big.

“We wanted to go big with the fundraiser because Pontefract will be the 50th Andy’s Man Club group to open in the UK.

“And me being an adrenaline junkie, I chose to do a skydive.

“I’ve never done one before so it’s a brand new experience to look forward to.

“And the main goal is to keep raising awareness for the charity, it’s so important that we break down these barriers surrounding men’s mental health.

“With the group sessions, I’m just aiming to save one person - any others from that is a bonus and I’m hoping it’s successful.”

Lee’s skydive will take place on Wednesday, June 9.
