JABA Inc Productions brings Educating Rita to Ossett Town Hall

Following the success of the company’s first production at Ossett Town Hall, Goodnight Mister Tom, which attracted an impressive audience of around 800 people, JABA Inc Productions is returning to the venue with one of Willy Russell’s best-loved plays.

Taking place from December 2 to 5, Educating Rita is a moving and frequently hilarious two-hander that explores education, ambition, friendship and the possibility of changing your life.

Frank Bryant is a professor of English Literature at an esteemed university. Middle-aged, disillusioned and struggling with alcoholism, Frank has lost both his passion for literature and his respect for his students – then Rita arrives.

As their relationship develops, both Rita and Frank find themselves challenged to look at their lives — and at each other — in a completely different way.
