Road closed in Wakefield after water main bursts
A temporary road closure and signed diversion is in place at Hostingley Lane, Wakefield, following a burst main.
A Yorkshire Water spokesperson said: “We’re working as quickly as we can to reinstate the highway following the repair of a burst main and consequential damage.
"The closure and signed diversion will remain in place for the safety of our colleagues and those living and working in the area.
“The road will be open as soon as it is safe to do so once the reinstatement of the carriageway is complete.
"We appreciate that this may cause some disruption and would like to thank everyone for their patience whilst we carry out this important fix.”
