Walk for Nadia was ‘humbling and emotional’ says organiser
A fundraising walk to remember 16-year-old Nadia Mucha was a "humbling and an emotional" day, the event organiser said.
More than 100 people took part in a nine mile fundraising walk around Outwood and Stanley on Saturday.

Jonny Morgan, who started the Walk to Remember Nadia gofundme page, said: "It was a truly humbling and emotional day.
"To walk beside Nadia’s family and friends with well over 100 people of the community was incredible."

Nadia was found lying in the road on Rooks Nest Road, Outwood, Wakefield at around 8.33pm on Tuesday September 29.
She was taken to hospital where she sadly died four days later.
Police arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving on October 5 and later bailed him pending further enquiries.
More than 700 people have so far donated a total of more than £12,000 to the Walk for Nadia gofundme appeal to support Nadia's family.

Jonny added: "I have done many charity walks but never really felt the emotions I felt (on Saturday).
"Talking all the way around the nine miles of Walk For Nadia to individuals I found out just how much Nadia meant to people, her family, her friends and the strength it took them to walk for Nadia was inspiring.
"I would like to think the route we took people could take on the walk either it be the full route or just parts of it to think of Nadia who loved her walks. The route signs will be left up."
