Train delays and cancellations at Wakefield Westgate due to signalling fault
Rail passengers have been hit by delays this morning due to a signalling fault at Wakefield Westgate.
National Rail said there is a fault with the system between Wakefield Westgate and Fitzwilliam causing disruption to trains between Wakefield and Sheffield/Doncaster.
They said as a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes.
The delays are expected until noon today.
