Bresnan is man of the match for England

The Yorkshire CCC all-rounder made it 13 wins from 13 Tests for England and has now been labelled their lucky mascot.
But he is more than that as shown by his display at Trent Bridge when he followed up his 4-104 in the first innings with another burst of wickets in the second when he knocked over three of the Windies top order on Sunday night then followed up with another wicket the following morning to finish with 4-37.

England went on to win by nine wickets to go two up in the series.
Bresnan had been under pressure before the game after a disappointing first Test when he did not score a run and only took once wicket, but the selectors’ belief in him was backed up by a performance that won the praise of captain Andrew Strauss.
