Bradley ‘Ninjas’ are joined by younger brother Rexxer for British title treble
Crofton’s Bradley boys are no stranger to the big stage when it comes to combat sports so it was not a surprise to see them compete in the annual WKO British Championships at Barnsley Metrodome.
But while on previous occasions it has been Reynnahn and Rivir Bradley, this year saw their youngest brother, six-year-old Rexxer, join them as he made his official fight debut – and he certainly did not disappoint as all three boys walked away as K1 British Champions across their respective divisions.

Rexxer competed first and while this was his first official fight it was a landmark for the family as this was their 100th combined spread across their four boys.
Reuven Bradley, aged 12, the eldest of the four, has competed in 33 fights, Reynnahn aged nine, 51 and Rivir, aged eight, 15 fights, all across a number of different disciplines from Muay Thai, Kickboxing, K1 and MMA.

This figure does not include their BJJ matches, which in their own right have amassed well over a century of competitive matches, so the family is well experienced in the world of martial arts.
Therefore any newcomer under the Bradley name will be potentially one to watch and this proved true again.
Rexxer fought like a warrior, showing composure and technical skill far beyond his experience in what was a brilliant final as he competed in the 24kg division and constantly pressed the action.
He set the pace, threw a huge volume of strikes with some well put together combinations, landing perfectly timed kicks, set up with punches throughout and dominated all the rounds to win via a unanimous decision. With it he was the first of the Bradley family’s three British champions of the day to be crowned.

Rexxer is also the youngest British champion in the family, winning this at just six and while expectations where understandably high prior to the event, he really did exceed these in the eyes of his gym, Guts Over Fear and his co aches. The future looks bright for yet another Bradley ninja.
Reynnahn stepped up next and as the current, defending and undefeated WKO British, European and World Muay Thai & K1 Champion as well as the current WKO number 1 ranked 35kg fighter in the world, having won this event last year, expectations were high.
He was able to reclaim his title and maintain his undefeated K1 record with a convincing victory in the final against a talented fighter from the Netherlands as he lifted the 32kg British title for the second year in a row.
This was Ren’s fifth British Title across Muay Thai, K1 and BJJ Gi and No Gi.

He also returned to competing in BJJ last month, having been away from competitive action for over 14 months through an injury and then competing in other combat sports, and announced himself back on the scene in style.
Entering both the Gi and no Gi divisions at the Empire Grappling: South Yorkshire Open with over 500 athletes competing, Ren won double gold medals, clearing out the Gi division, winning every match by submission in a combined time of one minute, 12 seconds and also winning every match via submission in the no Gi division in one minute, 48 seconds.
This was the tenth time he had claimed double gold medals in the same competition and he earned his 37th BJJ gold since first competing at the age of six. He picked up his 71st win with an 87% submission rate as well as maintaining his 100% success of winning this competition at every attempt.
Rivir was the last of the Bradley Ninjas to compete as he was in two K1 divisions.
First he would fight in his more natural weight division of 26kg as well as stepping up to compete in the 28kg division and again he came come into this with his own high hopes, having won the WKO Kickboxing World title last year as well as the WKO Muay Thai World title in August.
And as the current WKO number one ranked 25kg fighter in the world, he was ready to show why. With his older brother Reuven in his corner, along with his dad Marc, head Muay Thai coach Daz Smith and his two newly crowned British champion brothers he had the perfect team to spur him on.
Rivir dominated his opponents in the 26kg division, winning all his fights via unanimous decisions to pick up his first British title and did not stop there as he continued the same relentless pressure and pace in the 28kg division to once again prove too much to handle.
Throwing such a high volume of strikes and setting such a high tempo in the fight, it was just too much to match even with a clear weight disadvantage as he went on to win the final via another unanimous decision.
It was team Bradley’s eighth British title to date and they do not intend to stop there with the boys’ little sister, Rehevoleht, also eager to get into the ring.
