Blacker Hall Farm wins big at the Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards 2026

The Wakefield farm shop won the Best Cold Prepared Meat Award for its Hand Carved Picanha Beef Roast and the Best Hot Ready to Eat Product and Supreme Product Champion Award for its Homemade Steak Party Pie at the ceremony, which was held in Harrogate on November 3.

The annual awards celebrate Yorkshire's food and drink businesses, attracting hundreds of entries from across the region.

It is also the biggest award programme of its kind in the north of England.

Tanya Goldthorpe, sales and marketing director at Blacker Hall Farm, said: “We are delighted to have our food recognised in the Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards, especially for products that truly represent what Blacker Hall Farm is all about.

“We pride ourselves on our genuine farm-to-fork approach and the skill, care and expertise that go into everything we produce.

"Our in-house butchery, bakery and kitchens work closely together, so it is particularly special to see our Homemade Steak Party Pie, which brings all of these departments together, recognised as Supreme Product Champion.
