Pontefract Museum reopens after revamp
The work - which has seen new gallery lighting installed and a reorganisation of exhibitions - has been funded by Wakefield Council and the Arts Council England.
It reopened to the public on Monday.
Coun Les Shaw, cabinet member for culture, leisure and sport, said: “This work will help to improve Pontefract Museum so that more people can enjoy all the events and exhibitions we have on offer.
