Released Wakefield Trinity forward finds new club in Championship

Released Wakefield Trinity forward Noah High has landed a new club for 2027.

The 21-year-old prop was included on Trinity’s departure list at the end of the season just finished and is the last to have a move to another club for 2027 confirmed.

Max Jowitt has joined York, Lachlan Walmsley and Cam Scott have moved to Bradford, Mason Lino is heading for Castleford, Tyson Smoothy will play for the Perth Bears and Will Tate has joined Huddersfield, while Jay Pitts has retired.

High has now joined his ex-teammates in finding a club ahead of the new season after a deal with Championship side Oldham has been confirmed.

High played for Oldham on loan in 2026 and now makes the move a permanent one, looking to add to the four appearances he made for the club in 2026.

He arrived at Wakefield from Warrington Wolves at the beginning of the 2025 season, signing a two-year deal.

The Cumbrian born forward has been a mainstay in Trinity’s reserve grade side over the past two years, but the rise of the club’s first team has made senior opportunities limited for him.
