Pontefract Pride: Annual celebration to return for its fourth year this summer
Pontefract Pride will return for its fourth annual celebration this summer, and will aim to raise vital funds for Macmillan.
The special event will be hosted once again by The Carleton pub, on Hardwick Road, and will take place on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21.

Since launching in 2023, the celebration has grown with last year’s festival featuring an outdoor stage for the first time.
This year, visitors can expect a variety of performances from local singers, bands, dancers and drag artists.
The outdoor stage will also return, alongside the pub’s annual dog show – which will take place on the Sunday.
On Pontefract Pride’s highly-anticipated return, Jodie Hughes, general manager of The Carleton, said: "We are so excited and started our plans last week.
“We will also be spending the weekend fundraising for MacMillan to see if we can beat last years amount and get us to our 2026 target of £5,000.”
